Should you hire me?

I may not be a good fit if:	Hire me scenarios:
You know exactly what you need. You just need a developer to code and implement your solution.	You need someone to research, experiment, prototype and implement solution to a problem or requirement. You’d like to see a set of approaches to solving the problem - their pros, cons, how it’ll differ from a competitor’s approach etc. You may want me to code and deploy to production or guide your team to do that.
You prefer sync work where you need me to be continuously online during office hours on slack, google meet etc. Your team conducts all project discussions in a sync manner over chat.	You prefer async work with occasional scheduled sync chat or meeting .
You require me to overlap with your timezone 100%.	You are okay with an async work schedule where I work from my timezone(London) with a few hours overlap with your team.
You expect accurate estimates before starting every project and strict adherence to that.	You understand it is impossible to estimate development work. You are happy for me to develop a prototype to establish baselines, constraints etc. and then iteratively improve towards your target solution.

Process

Stage 1: Roadmapping, usually takes 2 weeks.

I sign a confidentiality agreement, if you want me to.
Your team gives me quick onboarding - as much info as possible.
I will then explore the options available. At the end of this stage, I will deliver a presentation detailing different solutions - pros/cons, a roadmap for development, approx effort/costs etc. The document I deliver will have enough details for your team to assess solutions, see them in context with your commercial/ops objectives etc. You will be able to take the doc to a third party or developers for further development as there will be good pointers for actual implementation.

Stage 2: Implementation

This follows the deliverable from stage 1 - which would have given you clarity on a solution, costs/effort etc. You can decide if you’d like me to implement it or ask me to guide your team if they would like to implement it. Or you could even give the project to a third party. If you’d like me to code, implement and deploy, I work in 2 week sprint cycles delivering iterative improvement.

Fees

I work in sprints. 1 sprint is 2 weeks.
I charge US $6500 per sprint. I don’t charge by the hour.
If you are a new client, for the first project you will need to pay 25% of a sprint ($1625) for me to start working. For subsequent sprints, I will invoice you at the end of the month.
If you’d like me to be available for maintenance after the project has been delivered, we can discuss a retainer agreement.
